MARIANNE ANSELIN

Like Richard Long, I walk. Like Bernhard Schobinger or Gilles Jonemann, I wander and search. I explore forests, wastelands, wastelands, long valleys, industrial zones, abandoned houses. I collect what has been left behind, forgotten, everything that resonates with my aesthetic history. Tin can, pebble, hunting cartridge, wood, leaves, old rusty cans, weathered by wind and rain, become my raw materials. I want to conquer the heart of this memory, its forgotten spirit. So I forge it, pierce it, bend it, bend it, adorn it, set it with stones, marry it with silver, dowry it with gold. My workshop is the place and the sublime moment where the object once again becomes this caress of material to be worn on the skin.
