Alessandra Calvani, was born in Rome, where she obtained a degree in architecture. In 1997, she created her brand Alessandra Calvani design, which designs and manufactures contemporary jewelry.
Her jewelry is created according to a precise compositional drawing which is often inspired by architectural details, photographed over the years. The design process continues with sketches on paper and research into best-suited materials, such as industrial processing of methacrylates and laser-cut metals.
